Next up for Nebraska – Kansas State in Lincoln, Neb., next week with the Big 12 North title on the line.

Missouri 38, Kansas State 12: At Manhattan, Kan., Danario Alexander caught 10 passes for 200 yards and three TDs in his second monster game in as many weeks and the Tigers (6-4, 2-4 Big 12) beat the Wildcats (6-5, 4-3).

Navy 35, Delaware 18: At Annapolis, Md., Ricky Dobbs ran for five touchdowns, breaking a Navy single-season record that has stood since 1917, and the Midshipmen (8-3) defeated the Blue Hens (6-4). Dobbs leads the nation with 22 touchdowns and needs one more rushing score to tie the record held by Florida’s Tim Tebow (2007) and Air Force’s Change Harridge (2002). His final TD broke Bill Ingram’s Navy record of 21 set in 1917.

Florida State 41, Wake Forest 28: At Winston-Salem, N.C., Jermaine Thomas rushed for 149 yards and a TD, E.J. Manuel passed for 220 yards and a TD and ran for another score in his first career start as the Seminoles (5-5, 3-4 Atlantic Coast Conference) kept their bowl hopes alive with a win over the Demon Deacons (4-7, 2-5).

Air Force 45, UNLV 17: At Air Force Academy, Colo., Asher Clark ran for career highs of three TDs and 160 yards and the Falcons (7-4, 5-2 Mountain West) totaled 431 yards on the ground in a romp over the Rebels (4-7, 2-5).

Boston College 14, Virginia 10: At Charlottesville, Va., Dave Shinskie’s 1-yard TD sneak on fourth down gave the Eagles (7-3, 4-2 ACC) the lead for good and handed the Cavaliers (3-7, 2-4) their fourth straight loss. Boston College remains one-half game behind Clemson in the Atlantic Division.

Iowa State 17, Colorado 10: At Ames, Iowa, Austen Arnaud threw a pair of touchdown passes and the Cyclones (6-5, 3-4 Big 12) beat the Buffaloes (3-7, 2-4) to become bowl eligible for the first time since 2005.

Michigan State 40, Purdue 37: At West Lafayette, Ind., Kirk Cousins threw three TD passes, and the Spartans (6-5, 4-3 Big Ten) overcame an 11-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Boilermakers (4-7, 3-4) and become bowl eligible.

Mississippi 42, Tennessee 17: At Oxford, Miss., Dexter McCluster rushed for 282 yards and four TDs to carry the Rebels (7-3, 3-3 SEC) to a victory over the Volunteers (5-5, 2-4) for the first time since 1993. Prior to McCluster’s effort, the most yards Tennessee had allowed a running back was the 217 posted by Colorado’s Mike Pritchard in 1990 and Alabama’s Bobby Humphrey in 1986.

Army 22, VMI 17: At West Point, N.Y., Patrick Mealy ran 16 times for 136 yards and a TD to lead the Black Knights (4-6) past the Keydets (2-8). Army ended a three-game skid and reached four wins for the first time since 2005.

Northwestern 21, Illinois, 16: At Champaign, Ill., Mike Kafka threw for 305 yards and a TD and ran for another score, and Sherrick McManis made a last-minute interception to help the Wildcats (7-4, 4-3 Big 10) hold off the Fighting Illini (3-7, 2-6).
