Rachel Hammontree reported Tuesday the $350 theft of an iPod and cash from her 2005 Toyota Matrix parked at her home on the 1600 block of North Second Street.

Kootenai County sheriff

Becky Akker, owner of Sun Valley Tree Service, reported Tuesday the $3,200 theft of six chainsaws from her home business on the 6000 block of South Blue Creek Road.

Ronald Brewer, security manager at Silverwood, reported Tuesday the $1,800 theft of a pressure washer from the park at 27843 N. Highway 95 near Athol.

Jeffrey Deitz, Post Falls, reported Tuesday the $1,770 theft of a snowmobile, welder and trailer and $250 damage to a gate and post at a home on the 200 block of South Helm Court.
