Start with Seattle

Thanks largely to their huge fan support, the Seattle Sounders will kick off the Major League Soccer schedule for the second consecutive season. The Sounders will host the expansion Philadelphia Union on March 25, the league announced Thursday. Seattle hosted the first game of the 2009 season, beating the New York Red Bulls 3-0 before a crowd of 32,523. The Sounders have one home game remaining in the 2009 season. They are averaging more than 30,000 fans and will shatter previous league attendance records. The Sounders will also be the home opener for Real Salt Lake on April 10 in Sandy, Utah.
