Silver Mountain to reopen Thursday

Skiing at Silver Mountain will re-open on Thursday after crews replaced a bearing in the resort’s famous gondola.
Fixing the problem took about 300-plus man hours, Marketing Director John Williams said. “It’s a major surgery,” he said.
Skiing at the Kellogg resort closed Friday, although its other attractions such as the Morning Star Lodge and Silver Rapids water park remained open.
