CdA Symphony presents Irish music concert
The Coeur d’Alene Symphony will take on an Irish lilt for its family matinee concert Saturday.
The orchestra will be joined by Irish tenor Michael Londra and local groups An Dóchas and the Haran Irish Dancers.
Londra, who was lead singer in the U.S. tour of “Riverdance,” has teamed with members of An Dóchas, the Haran dancers and others for a new Irish music and dance show called Celtic Fire.
That tour will come to Spokane’s Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox on March 5.
Saturday’s concert begins at 2 p.m. at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road in Coeur d’Alene. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and $5 for students and children; call (208) 765-3833.
