Spokane Civic Theatre Summer Camps – One-Week Camps: For students entering grades 3-6. “Harry Potter: On the Hogwarts Express,” July 25-29; “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” Aug. 1-5. Christian Youth Theater Camps – Junior and Bitty Camps – Weeklong summer camps for ages 5-13 are held through Aug. 12 at Lake City Community Church, 6000 N. Ramsey Road, Coeur d’Alene. Workshops include voice, dance and drama. Cost is $160 for ages 7-13 and $95 for ages 5-6 (includes a T-shirt and pizza on Friday). Teen Camps – Monday-Friday, July 25-29. Theme is “Wow! Experience Music Project Science Fiction + Fantasy Short Film Festival – Entries are being accepted for the seventh annual festival to be screened in Seattle early next year. They must be animated or live-action films of 15 minutes or less, completed after January 2007, in the science fiction or fantasy genres (no horror).
