High temperatures in the middle 80s will bring summer back into focus today.
Higher air pressure has moved into the region, pushing away the cooler air and showers from earlier this week.
Today’s highs are forecast to reach 84 in Spokane and 85 in Coeur d’Alene.
Weekend temperatures will reach the upper 80s on Saturday and Sunday in both cities with mostly sunny skies.
Highs should remain in the upper to middle 80s through Thursday.
At 8 a.m., it was 63 at Spokane International Airport and Coeur d’Alene and 67 at Felts Field.
