Associated Press
SHANKSVILLE, Pa. (AP) — Bill Clinton will speak at this week’s dedication of the Flight 93 National Memorial in western Pennsylvania. The former president will join former President George W. Bush, Vice President Joe Biden, Speaker of the House John Boehner and Flight 93 family members at Saturday’s event. The National Park Service and National Park Foundation will announce more details Thursday. Also attending will be former first lady Laura Bush, Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar, National Park Service Director Jon Jarvis and Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett. Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Sarah McLachlan will perform at the dedication ceremony Saturday. The memorial honors those killed on Flight 93, which crashed near Shanksville, southeast of Pittsburgh. Forty passengers and crew died on Sept. 11, 2001, after some of them fought with hijackers aboard the plane.
