Young got charge from Oscars party

Actress Sean Young wants folks to know that she was sober when she was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery after the Academy Awards on Sunday. Young, 52, is currently out on $20,000 bail after being booked , at the LAPD’s Hollywood Division station late Sunday.
Police said she was involved in “some type of physical altercation.” Young told People magazine she “was just standing by the little line” outside the Governors Ball, for which she did not have a ticket. “I wasn’t bothering anybody.” The actress did tell People, however, that she struck a security guard after she went to leave and he allegedly grabbed her arm.
Said Young via Facebook on Monday: “I just want everyone to know that I was sober, extremely well behaved when a very stupid security guard went postal on me … and I have grounds for a lawsuit against the Academy although I believe a public apology to me would be much better.” Young is due in court March 19.

Lindsay Lohan says she’s “clean and sober” and “a homebody” these days. And she likes it that way. The troubled starlet’s career in recent years has been upstaged by legal and personal problems. But she’s on a comeback that now has brought her to NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” which she hosts this week.
