OUTLOOK: The Pilots brought a six-game losing streak to the McCarthey Athletic Center a month ago and absorbed a 90-51 drubbing, Gonzaga’s most lopsided win in the series since 1999. Portland has dropped four straight, including a 72-71 home setback to San Francisco on Saturday, entering the rematch. Former Gonzaga Prep standout Ryan Nicholas is the only Pilot to start every game this season. He leads the team in scoring (11.3) and rebounding (7.6). Senior point guard Eric Waterford started Saturday for the first time this season, but left with a knee injury. He’s questionable for tonight’s game. GU has won 17 straight and 31 of 32 in the series.
