Be wary of institutions

Protect the institution at all costs, regardless of the charges. It makes no difference if we are talking about Jerry Sandusky, priests in the Catholic Church, corruption on Wall Street, etc. We have trusted our most cherished institutions for so long that we have lost sight of what is important in life.

When the verdict was read in the Sandusky trial, he was stunned and couldn’t believe it, which makes perfect sense. People like that are out of touch with reality, and in complete denial that they did anything wrong. There will be more cases of exploitation and abuse of power in the halls of our most treasured and respected institutions.

Yearout will protect Constitution

With our country’s economy being in not-so-good shape, this election year is the perfect opportunity to dump the status quo and elect some new representatives who can revive our country.

In the 5th District, Cathy McMorris Rodgers is the status quo, and her voting record indicates she has a habit of ignoring the Constitution. Or is it perhaps that she’s unfamiliar with it? She’s voted for a number of bills that push us closer to being a police state, pile on more government regulation, destroy our country’s sovereignty, take unconstitutional environmental action, and give our tax dollars away as foreign aid.

We need to replace our congresswoman with a candidate who knows the constitutional, limited powers of our government and will represent us within those boundaries. That candidate is Randall Yearout, running for the Republican Party. Randall is a hardworking, blue collar guy with integrity, who will represent his constituents and not special-interest groups.

Will you please join me in voting for some real change? Mark your primary ballot for Randall Yearout for Congress.
