Obituary: Hagen, Charline Ann

HAGEN,
Charline Ann

Passed away in Spokane, WA on July 9, 2012.

She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Henry Hagen; her brother Ernie Dalleske of Austin, TX; sister-in-law Thelma Strenge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charline had a great love for her church, Advent Lutheran Church.

She was a master gardener, gifted seamstress, and great cook and baker.

Charline loved technology and showed it by proving her knowledge to be greater than most.

Her career as a radio telegrapher would see her become the first women telegrapher for the railroad.

She went on to become an air traffic controller for the FAA.

But her greatest love was for her husband and her home.

A memorial service will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 13009 E. Broadway Avenue, Spokane Valley, WA on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 11 am.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Advent Lutheran Church or to a charity of your choice.
