For most of the Minnesota Lynx’s existence, getting to the playoffs was challenge enough. Now they’re going for their second straight championship. The Lynx play the Indiana Fever in Game 1 of the WNBA Finals today ( 5 p.m. on ESPN2). They are looking to become the first repeat champions since the Los Angeles Sparks in 2001-02. Lynx forward Rebekkah Brunson says it’s been much harder to get this far the second time. Minnesota was tested by Seattle and Los Angeles in the Western Conference playoffs and now faces a persistent Indiana team. Indiana was down 1-0 in each of their first two series before rallying. – Associated Press
