Passed away peacefully at Sacred Heart Hospital on October 17, 2012.
Arlene was born to Frank and Nellie Lucker on July 5th, 1935.
She married John H. Russell Sr. on August 9th, 1952.
They were married for 60 years.
She was an avid collector of dolls, pets, and watches.
She loved any-thing that was different or goofy.
Arlene loved people!
She had an “off the wall sense of humor” and loved to make people smile.
Arlene’s door was always open and the coffee pot always on.
Her attitude earned her many friends, some of which she called her family.
Arlene is survived by her husband John Russell Sr.; and her four children, Nellie Biehl (Brad), Jo Ann McCoy (Mark), John Russell (Jean), Peggy Muse (Jim), all who reside in the Spokane area.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews, sisters and one brother, and many “adopted” family members including her beloved dogs “Foxy” “Romeo” and “DB”.
She was preceded into death by one son, Billie James Russell.
The “Celebration of Life” services will be held Saturday, October 27th, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home.
