Josh Davis went 2 for 4 for the Pirates (1-2-1), getting half of Whitworth’s four hits on the day.

Nick Scourey (0-1) allowed three runs – one earned – on five hits over five innings for the Pirates.

Whitworth hosts the Swing Into Spring Classic next weekend in Pasco.
