Walla Walla sweet onion harvest begins

WALLA WALLA — Some farmers in the Walla Walla area have already started harvesting their Walla Walla sweet onions. KVEW reports the harvest is starting about a week-and-a-half early. The Walla Walla sweet onion is the official vegetable of the state of Washington.
