The Eagles built a comfortable lead through three quarters and withstood the Kodiak’s furious comeback attempt in a consolation game.

Stephen Jardin scored 15 points and David Irias added 13 points and 15 rebounds for Christian Faith, which at one point led by 20 points.

Columbia Adventist rallied in the fourth, outscoring the Eagles 17-6, but it wasn’t enough.

Segun Amosun had 18 points and 11 rebounds and Ignatius Medani had 15 points and 17 rebounds for the Kodiaks.

Keanu Curleybear led three players in double figures with 19 points and the Chitwhins pulled away in the middle two quarters in beating the Eagles.

Taholah made 16 of 22 shots in the second half.

Ben Winters scored 17 points and Jason Korneychuk added 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Eagles.

Sunnyside Christian withstood a late charge from Pomeroy and advanced to the championship game.

Alex Brouwer led the Knights with 14 points and also had six rebounds. Tanner Feider was the top scorer for the Pirates with 11.

Brant Bosma’s 3-pointer early in the second quarter pushed Sunnyside Christian’s lead to 16 points.

Pomeroy closed to within seven in the final minutes but couldn’t overcome Sunnyside Christian’s 11 free throws in the second half.

Tyler McCaulley set a State 1B boys tournament record with eight 3-pointers in a single game and Neah Bay used a hot-shooting night to take care of LaCrosse- Washtucna/ Kahlotus and advance to the championship game.

McCaulley hit 8 of 12 3-pointers and 10 of 15 overall for a game-high 29 points. Teammate DeShawn Halttunen scored 21 points.

The Red Devils hit 52.8 percent of their field-goal attempts while holding the Tigercats to 39.7. Neah Bay made all eight of its fourth-quarter attempts and 13 of 20 overall.

Jed Zimmer led the Tigercats with 20 points and eight rebounds. Darcy Stamper parlayed an 8-of-8 night from the free-throw line into 16 points.
