Pine Meadow Farm Center Benefit Concert and Silent Auction Fundraiser – Friday, 6:30-10 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 4340 W. Fort George Wright Drive. Featuring Todd Milne and Blake Abyss (world music), Visual Vortex (hula hoop troupe), and Terrible Buttons (modern folk). Pine Meadow Farm CSA shares will be offered for sale. (A share entitles a family to receive a weekly box of farm-fresh produce from the farm throughout the growing season.) There will also be a raffle for one $400 CSA share. Proceeds benefit the Pine Meadow Farm Center, a 32-acre nonprofit educational farm, that provides regional experiential education on nutrition, farming, gardening, food-system literacy and sustainable living skills.
