Obituary: Delauder, Ian Geoffrey

Age 20

DeLAUDER, Ian Geoffrey Our beloved son, Ian Geoffrey DeLauder, died unexpectedly on the morning of October 17, 2013.

He was 20 years young.

Ian was born in Anchorage, Alaska, on March 4th, 1993.

When he was three he moved to Spokane, Washington.

He graduated from MEAD in 2011, and then attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks, and at present was starting out at SCC.

Ian was a computer whiz.

Peers, adults, and especially we, his parents, would look to him for technology help.

He had recently moved to the country, where he was happiest riding his 4-wheeler and training his dogs, who were truly the loves of his life.

His catchphrase of late was that he was “living the dream.”

Ian designated on his license that he wanted to be an organ donor, and we were able to follow his wishes.

We would like to thank the LifeCenter Northwest group who were so kind and respectful of Ian and our family through this process.

Hopefully life will come from out loss.

Ian is survived by his dogs, Annie and Savannah; his parents, Dan and Cynde; and his sister Elizabeth.
