Republic girls defeat Kettle Falls in nonleague basketball
Shaynia Graham and Sierra McQuay each had double-doubles and Republic defeated Kettle Falls 48-33 Wednesday night in a nonleague girls basketball game in Republic.
Graham had 20 points and 11 rebounds and McQuay added 12 points and 12 rebounds as the Tigers used a 15-6 fourth quarter to pull away from the Bulldogs.
Kellogg 34, Freeman 25: Emalie Chambers scored nine points and the Wildcats shot 10 for 19 from the free-throw line to defeated the host Scotties.
Lakeside 45, West Valley 32: Jocelyn Cook-Cox’s 14 points, seven rebounds and three steals led Lakeside to the win over the host Eagles. Kim Koppenstein led WV with eight points and 10 rebounds.

West Valley 56, Lakeside 46: Anthony Rice scored 10 of his game-high 17 points in the fourth quarter and West Valley used an 18-10 fourth quarter to pull away from Lakeside at WV. Brandon Ray added 10 rebounds for West Valley. Ryan Quigley led Lakeside with 17 points.
Freeman 60, Kellogg 59: Sophomore Ryan Maine scored 16 points and added eight rebounds, and the Scotties shot 14 for 17 from the free-throw line in outlasting the visiting Wildcats.
Clarkston 88, Australia Tour Team 39: CJ Johnson’s 21 points led four individuals in double digits and the Bantams defeated a visiting touring team.
Clarkston finished with 27 assists.
Selkirk 49, Priest River 39: Jacob Couch scored 16 points and the Rangers defeated the visiting Spartans at Ione.
