Hot Club of Spokane targets May for album

From Staff Reports

The Hot Club of Spokane plans to release its debut album in May, and the group is trying to raise $4,500 on Kickstarter to fund the project.

The album will feature songs from Spokane’s own Bing Crosby, Mildred Bailey and Al Rinker.

Contributors will receive digital downloads, CDs, bonus tracks or concert tickets, depending on the donation amount. Find details at http://kickstarter.hotclubofspokane.com. The campaign ends Friday.

And, if you’re still listening to holiday tunes, download five songs the group recently recorded, including “White Christmas,” “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and “Christmas Night in Hillyard.” Go to https://soundcloud.com/nostalgia-magazine for the free songs.
