Hanson’s sharp shooting leads CCS men

Kwinn Hanson shot 14 of 17 from the floor and finished with game highs of 29 points and 11 rebounds Saturday while powering CC of Spokane to a 93-77 win over Yakima Valley at Spokane Community College.

Chase Haack added 21 points for CCS (12-4, 2-0 NWAACC). Joel Yellow Owl scored 21 for the Yaks (9-7, 0-2).

Southern Idaho 96, North Idaho 76: Detwon Rogers had 24 points and 10 rebounds as the visiting Golden Eagles (17-2, 4-1 SWAC) beat the Cardinals. Bryce Leavitt had 14 points, nine rebounds and five assists for NIC (15-5, 2-3).
