ISP arrests man for I-90 hit-and-runs

Staff reports
Idaho State Police arrested a Spokane Valley man for crashing into several cars along Interstate 90 on Sunday afternoon between Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene, and then fleeing. Tyler Busby, 32, is suspected of the hit-and-runs along a three-mile stretch of I-90 between mileposts 7 and 10. The first crash in the westbound lane involved Busby ramming his Toyota Camry into the rear of a Honda Accord. He sped away and then smashed his car into a Toyota Rav 4. He drove away from that crash, too, according to an ISP press release. The drivers of the two cars struck by Busby’s car were injured. Busby then collided with a large highway traffic sign. As police arrived he ran away. Busby had two women passengers in their 60s in the car with him. Police caught and arrested him for drunken driving, and leaving the scene of accidents.
