UW reinstates quarterback Cyler Miles

Associated Press

SEATTLE – Washington reinstated quarterback Cyler Miles, who had been suspended while police investigated whether he was involved in a Super Bowl night fight.

Huskies coach Chris Petersen said suspended receiver Demore’ea Stringfellow, who was charged with two counts of fourth-degree assault and one count of malicious mischief after two incidents on Feb. 2, will transfer.

Miles started one game last season as Keith Price’s backup. He figured to start this year as a sophomore but missed all of spring practice.

Stringfellow was also expected to start after coming on late in his freshman season.
