• NHL: Montreal at N.Y. Rangers (5 p.m., NBC Sports): Up 3-2 in the series, New York needs one victory to reach the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 20 years. After a wild 7-4 Canadiens win in Montreal in Game 5, the Rangers know that Game 6 at home tonight is their best chance to get it.

• NBA: Oklahoma City at San Antonio (6, TNT): San Antonio is flirting with another collapse. In 2012, the Spurs won the first two games of the Western Conference finals against the Thunder, then lost four straight. The Spurs need a home win in Game 5 tonight to put an end to the old comparison and take a 3-2 lead.
