$1 cupcakes to mark anniversary

Sweet Frostings is celebrating its third anniversary with $1 cupcakes at both of its locations on Saturday.

“It’s our way of showing our appreciation for three amazing years in Spokane,” said Judy Rozier, who owns the bakeshops with Sally Winfrey.

The downtown location opened in 2011 at 15 S. Washington St. The North Side shop opened last year at 12501 N. Division St., Suite 3.

The bakery is known for its ample selection of cupcake flavors – from salted caramel, a top seller, to red velvet and apple pie. The shop also serves pastries, macarons and more.

Reach the downtown shop at (509) 242-3845. It’s open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call the North Side location at (509) 368-98-11. It’s open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
