2014 Everybody Reads- Erin Saldin’s book, “The Girls of No Return,” is the selection for the 2014 Everybody Reads. This is a partnership of bookstores and libraries encouraging all citizens to read and discuss the same book. Poet Naomi Shihab Nye - Award-winning Palestinian-American poet has spent 30 years traveling, giving readings and leading workshops around the world. Her work is informed by a wide variety of places and topics, especially the intersections of cultures. She is author and editor of more than 30 volumes, ranging from collections of poetry to anthologies of writing from around the world.
