Best bets on TV

The college basketball season may have officially started on Friday but ESPN begins its annual season-opening, around-the-clock coverage at 4 p.m. today. The first game features Miami at Florida on ESPNU, followed by Georgia State at Iowa State at 6 p.m. Gonzaga gets into the action with its 8 p.m. home game against SMU on ESPN2. The TV tour makes stops at Oregon, USC and Colorado before midnight. Once Tuesday morning hits, coverage continues with games at Saint Mary’s, Hawaii and 11 more sites, wrapping up with Texas Tech at LSU at 6 p.m. Tuesday on ESPN2.
