ESPN will air 13 Gonzaga games
College basketball: Gonzaga will appear at least 13 times on ESPN’s family of networks during the 2014-15 college basketball season.
GU’s nonconference matchups against SMU, Arizona, Washington State, UCLA and Memphis are among a minimum of 44 ESPN telecasts involving WCC teams.
The Zags’ showdowns with BYU (Dec. 27 and Feb. 28) and Saint Mary’s (Jan. 22 and Feb. 21) are on ESPN’s schedule. The ESPN networks will have expanded coverage of the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas, beginning with a pair of quarterfinal games Saturday, March. 7.

College basketball: Tickets for the Gonzaga-Washington State game on Dec. 10th at the Arena will go on sale to Bulldog Club members today. Bulldog Club members at the $250 level or higher for 2014-15 will have the opportunity to buy tickets prior to the general public.
Bulldog Club members were e-mailed a special code Tuesday afternoon prior to the sale. Tickets can be purchased online at GoZags.com, by phone by calling 1-800-325-SEAT or in person at the Spokane Arena Box Office. Tickets range in price from $25 to $65.
Tickets to the game are included in the Gonzaga men’s basketball season ticket package.
The general public will have the opportunity to buy tickets Sept. 12 beginning at 10 a.m. via any of the three aforementioned methods. Tickets for GU students will go on sale at a later date.
GU and WSU last played in the Spokane Arena Nov. 29, 1999, the Bulldogs taking a 73-63 victory in head coach Mark Few’s first season.
Catch Meehan on The LockerRoom
Radio: The Spokesman-Review sportswriter Jim Meehan will be a regular co-host each Wednesday on The LockerRoom Show with Toby Howell on 1510-AM.
Meehan, who covers Gonzaga men’s basketball and the Spokane Shock, among other sports, is one of several weekly co-hosts. Other hosts include SWX’s Sam Adams, Jim “MooseJaw” Miller, Bob Castle and former WSU football coach Jim Walden.
The show runs Monday-Friday from 4-6 p.m.
