Feedback

A new community arts project, Spokane Throw, is asking residents to write 25-word letters to the city of Spokane. Select submissions will be projected in light on the blank sides of buildings in October. We asked our Facebook friends for contributions, encouraging them to submit them to Spokane Throw as well. Here’s a sampling:

Dear Spokane: Spend more time loving what’s amazing about yourself and less time worrying about what’s lacking. In the end you’ll find those gaps will start to fill themselves.

Brenda Peterson

Dear Spokane, We are the Lilac City, correct? Where have all the lilacs gone? Start planting some lilacs people! Let’s earn that Lilac City title!

Dear Spokane, Don’t listen to all the haters. No city is perfect by any means. You’re a great place to live!
