1: Shook Twins

Born and raised in Sandpoint, the Shook Twins are an indie folk-pop band featuring twins Katelyn and Laurie Shook. They return to the Northwest for two shows this weekend, one in Sandpoint, the other at the Bartlett in downtown Spokane. Mama Doll will open the Sandpoint show.

2: Guitarist Laurence Juber

Eastern Washington is bringing this acclaimed fingerstyle guitarist to town for a Q&A session, a free guitar clinic and an evening concert. This Grammy-winning former guitarist for Wings will perform solo acoustic and with his electric guitar alongside the EWU Concert Jazz Orchestra. When: Today; free Q&A at noon; free guitar clinic on arranging pop songs for solo guitar from 1 to 3 p.m.; concert at 7:30 p.m.

3: ‘Sherlock Holmes

Mystery, stolen treasure and solving murders are old hat for Holmes and Watson. Once again they face the fiendish Professor Moriarty and unknown dangers in this fast-moving adventure.
