Hydroelectricity near normal
Avista expects its annual hydroelectric production to be about 94 percent of normal for 2015. Tuesday’s article on the company’s second-quarter earnings listed an incorrect time span.
Bird held honorary degree
Forrest M. Bird’s degree in biotechnology was an honorary degree, according to his wife, Pamela Riddle Bird. That was not clear in Bird’s obituary in Tuesday’s paper.
Marijuana sales increase
A story that ran on page A10 of Wednesday’s newspaper stated that marijuana revenue declined in Washington in July. Sales actually increased, the Washington Liquor and Cannabis Board said Thursday after reviewing the way it reported revenue. See brief in today’s Business section for more information.
