USA Today joins Sunday lineup

To our readers,

You’ll see a change inside the Sunday Business section today with the addition of investment and personal finance stories, charts and graphs provided by USA Today. The change, which debuts on Page E3, was prompted by a decision by the Wall Street Journal to discontinue business content for daily newspapers.

The WSJ notified 67 partnering newspapers last fall that it would no longer sell its material to them, so we began reviewing several alternatives. We examined special sections available from other news companies and determined the USA Today content was the best choice for our readers. USA Today’s material is well-written, timely and very consumer-oriented.

We believe you will find the content from our new partners to be helpful and that it will consistently provide the kind of news and information readers can rely on each week.
