Arizona puts struggles aside, defeats UCLA
Gabe York scored 13 points and Dusan Ristic added 12, providing No. 7 Arizona an unexpected lift in a difficult 57-47 victory over UCLA on Saturday night in Tucson, Arizona.
Arizona was abysmal offensively to start both halves and allowed UCLA to rally from a 14-point halftime deficit.
Ristic and York helped Arizona out of its first-half funk, combining for 22 of Arizona’s 32 points.
T.J. McConnell scored six of his 11 points in the final 1:14 to help the Wildcats seal it, stretching their home winning streak to 36 games.
Bryce Alford had 22 points and Norman Powell 11 for UCLA.
Oregon State 72, Colorado 58: Gary Payton II had 24 points, four steals and a school record seven blocks as the Beavers defeated the Buffaloes in Corvallis, Oregon.
Malcolm Duvivier scored 17 points and Daniel Gomis added 10 points and four blocks for the Beavers, who snapped a three-game skid.
Xavier Johnson had 12 points and nine rebounds to pace Colorado.
