Spring Beginning Beekeepers’ Class - Learn the basics about keeping honeybees. Upon completion of the course, participants can take the Washington State Beekeepers’ Association’s Apprentice Test. This is the first step in becoming a Master Beekeeper in Washington and, for Spokane residents, is necessary to keep bees within the city limits. Pamper Your Pet - Learn how to massage away your pet’s pain or provide them with a treat. The experts at Peaceful Paws Massage will show you how to correctly give your dog a massage and SCRAPS will provide information on healthy treats, winter hazards and tips for exercising indoors. Third Annual Dog People Blood Drive - The Inland Northwest Blood Center will have their bus parked in front of the clinic so that people can donate and the Pet Emergency Clinic Blood Bank will be there to do initial blood typing and temperament testing on dogs.
