Obituary: Bush, Lillian May

Age 95

BUSH, Lillian May Lillian passed away December 16, 2014 at the age of 95.

She was born on April 10, 1919.

She grew up in the Naples and Bonners Ferry, ID area, moving to Spokane in the early ‘40s.

She married Charles Bush in 1941, divorcing in ‘95.

She had five sisters and one brother, with Lillian being the last surviving sibling.

She was an excellent homemaker, making the best pies and salmon dinners.

None of us can forget the sound of clanging pans at 5 a.m. when spending the night.

Lillian worked as an in-home caregiver for many years, also working at the Lilac Nursing Home.

She was a master at writing poetry, bringing you to laughter or tears, depending on the storyline.

She was baptized as one of Jehova’s Witnesses.

She is survived by three daughters, Hazel Craig, Patricia Stark, and Judy Olson.

Her grandchildren are Laura Dierks, Elizabeth Zwarg, LeAnna McDougall, Terry Olson, Erika Mosner, and Tracy Zerbin.

She has 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, James Bush, in 2010.

She lived with a hope of an earthly resurrection on a paradise earth.

No memorial service is planned.
