“Meditations on Recovery: The Twelve Steps As Spiritual Practice” – The Rev. Thomas Haffey will lead this Serenity 12-Step retreat. He brings in the Jewish and Eastern spiritualities of Rami Shapiro to traditional 12-step considerations, unfolding rich reflections in the “God as you understand Him” concept. This retreat will give opportunity for those concerned with alcoholism and addiction to experience their need for God as they continue their journey of recovery and healing. Community Garage Sale – Tables will be set up in the church parking lot and members of the community can sign up to sell their own garage sale items at a table. You will be responsible for setting up your items, pricing your items, taking money for your items and removing all unsold items. You keep the money for whatever you sell.
