Bundrant leads King’s to championship sweep

YAKIMA – Tournament MVP Noah Bundrant sank two crucial 3-pointers in the fourth quarter, and King’s of Seattle rallied for a 45-40 victory over Lynden Christian on Saturday for the Class 1A boys state championship.

The win gave King’s two titles for the day. Earlier, the King’s girls beat Lakeside of Nine Mile Falls 43-27 for the title.

Bundrant hit his first trey with 3:14 to play, giving King’s a 37-35 lead to spark an 8-0 run which was capped by another Bundrant 3-pointer that gave the Knights the lead for good. LC got no closer than four the rest of the game.
