Vikings deal for Mike Wallace

The Minnesota Vikings acquired wide receiver Mike Wallace from the Miami Dolphins, according to a person with direct knowledge of the deal.

The Vikings will send a fifth-round draft pick to the Dolphins for their seventh-round selection in the swap.

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin benched Wallace in the second half of their final game last season after an argument between the 28-year-old and the coaching staff. Wallace led Miami with 10 touchdowns in his second season with the team, but he rarely clicked with quarterback Ryan Tannehill on deep passes.

Harvin to Bills on 1-year deal

Percy Harvin is rejoining Rex Ryan, agreeing to a one-year contract with the Buffalo Bills.

The wide receiver/kick returner was released this month by the Jets after playing for Ryan last season in New York.

Harvin had 29 catches for 350 yards and a touchdown in eight games with the Jets.

The Dallas Cowboys signed running back Darren McFadden on a two-year deal, a day after NFL rushing champ DeMarco Murray bolted for NFC East rival Philadelphia.

McFadden, 27, has 4,247 career yards, with highs of 1,157 yards and seven TDs in 2010.
