Carrington College, part of the DeVry Education Group, has named Michael Jerrow as the executive director of the Spokane campus. Jerrow was Carrington’s director of real estate planning. He has been with the college for 14 years.

Engineering

Trindera Engineering has hired Adam McAuley as a project engineer. McAuley was a project engineer at Dawson Technical LLC.

DCI Engineers has promoted Kyle Cossette from project engineer to structural project manager. Cossette has been with DCI since 2012 and has 11 years of experience in structural design.

Finance

Numerica Credit Union has promoted Manuel Hochheimer to assistant vice president of business development and hired Elizabeth Giles as media relations liaison. Hochheimer was the director of corporate business development and has been with Numerica since 2012. Giles was the marketing and communications officer at Inland Northwest Blood Center and has more than 11 years of experience in marketing and communications.

Thrivent Financial has named Bruce Schmitt as a top partner with the organization. He will be recognized at the national conference in April for finishing in the top 10 among his peers. Schmitt was selected for his performance in hiring and retaining financial representatives, as well as his work in sales growth and attracting new members.

Idaho Independent Bank has hired Jessica Lennon as a real estate loan officer in the Coeur d’Alene office. Lennon has more than 17 years of experience in real estate lending.

Kevin P. West has been named to the President’s Club at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management for his creativity and excellence in providing investment products and wealth management services to his clients. West is a senior vice president, financial adviser and senior investment management consultant in the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management office in Spokane. Membership in the President’s Club is awarded to the firm’s leading financial advisers. West has been with the firm since 1986.

Law

Winston & Cashatt principals Beverly L. Anderson and David P. Gardner have both been recognized for their commitment to professionalism. Anderson received the 2015 Smithmoore P. Myers Professionalism Award from the Spokane County Bar Association. This award recognizes individuals in the Spokane County legal community who have demonstrated the highest standards of professionalism and ethics. Gardner received the 2015 Professionalism Award for the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Idaho State Bar. He serves on the Panel of Chapter 7 Trustees for the District of Idaho and on the Washington State Bar Association Professionalism Committee.

Manufacturing

Trafficalm Systems of Post Falls was awarded the American Traffic Safety Services Association’s 2015 Innovation Award (second place) for ZoneAlert, a work zone intrusion warning system. Award recipients were selected by a team of roadway engineers and safety experts from the best in traffic and safety related products nationally.

Peggy O’Brien has been named sales and marketing director of Garden Plaza of Post Falls. O’Brien owned and operated a real estate brokerage firm for more than seven years. She has experience in sales, marketing and management with an emphasis on customer relations.

Spokane Valley Partners has announced the 2015 board of directors as follows: president, Anne Hagman of STCU; president-elect, Nancy Ledeboer of Spokane County Library District; past board president, Nancy Nelson of Humanix; treasurer, Mark Thompson of Wheatland Bank; secretary, Brian Singer of Lydig Construction; Briton Demars of Central Valley High School; Pat Dockrey, retired engineer; Steve Pannkuk of Advent Lutheran Church; Laurie Robinson of Washington Trust Bank Valley Financial Center; Diana Wilhite, former mayor of Spokane Valley.

Dave Peden, a principal structural engineer at Coffman Engineers, has been named vice president of the Providence Healthcare Foundation Eastern Washington. Peden served as the chair of the organization’s cardiac/vascular council for three years.
