Commencement dates set for Inland Northwest colleges

Thousands of new college graduates are set to receive diplomas across the Inland Northwest in the days and weeks ahead. Commencement ceremonies begin this week with Washington State University and Gonzaga University leading the way.

Here’s the list:

• Washington State University College of Pharmacy, 2 p.m. today at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in Spokane; 82 graduates.

• WSU Spokane, 2 p.m. Friday at INB Performing Arts Center; 403 graduates.

• WSU Pullman, three separate ceremonies for more than 3,000 graduates throughout the day Saturday at Beasley Coliseum.

• Gonzaga University, three ceremonies; 2,152 graduates overall. College of Law commencement, 9 a.m. Saturday at McCarthey Athletic Center; graduate student ceremonies, noon Saturday at McCarthey Athletic Center; undergraduate ceremony, 9:30 a.m. Sunday at Spokane Arena.

• University of Idaho-Coeur d’Alene, 7:30 p.m. Monday at Schuler Auditorium on NIC campus.

• North Idaho College, 10 a.m. May 15 in Christianson Gymnasium on the Coeur d’Alene campus.

• University of Idaho, 9:30 a.m. May 16 at Kibbie-ASUI Activity Center in Moscow.

• Whitworth University, two ceremonies; about 700 graduates and undergrads. Graduate ceremony, 10 a.m. May 16 at Cowles Memorial Auditorium; undergraduate ceremony 3 p.m. May 17 at Spokane Arena.

• Eastern Washington University, 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. June 13 at Roos Field in Cheney; 2,856 undergraduate and 556 graduate students eligible to participate.

• Spokane Falls Community College and Spokane Community College, set for June 19.
