Urban Art Co-op – Felted Vessel Workshop: Come explore the art of wet felting with Abbie Oscarson. Bring your imagination, your hands and a snack. All other materials will be provided. Northwest Museum of Art & Culture – Exploration of Sculpture: In this three-part series students will learn, discuss and discover the differences between geometric and organic sculpture designs. Students will experiment in creating several different maquettes (a small preliminary model) in both geometric and organic designs while striving for a balance of interesting use of positive and negative space. After students select their best maquette they will create a final sculpture in plaster. Materials provided by instructor and included in cost of course. Wednesday and June 10 and 17. 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m., $75.

Coeur d’Alene Art Grant Program – Three-year pilot program of the City of Coeur d’Alene Arts Commission seeks to widen arts and cultural participation and its expression. Program provides support from $500 up to $1,000 for projects, opportunities and events proposed by individuals, groups, organizations or communities of interest that offer a potential arts or cultural impact within the City of Coeur d’Alene. Annual Dahmen Barn Photography Invitational – All photographers are invited to enter photos of the Palouse taken in the past year.
