Obituary: Autrey-Evans, Beverly Jean

AUTREY-EVANS Beverly Jean (Age 70) On Sunday, November 15, 2015, Beverly Jean Autrey Evans went to be with her Lord.

She took pride in being a VFW volunteer.

She achieved the rank of Spec 5 in the U.S. Army and served her country from 1965-1968, serving 13 months in Vietnam as part of the first WAC detachments to be deployed to Vietnam.

She was born and raised in Spokane and graduated from Rogers H.S.

in 1962.

She is preceded in death by her husbands: Mervil D. Autrey and Donald Evans.

She is survived by her three children: Douglas (Angela), Gene, and Dean (Shelly); her sister, Karen Bair of Spokane; and her four grandchildren: John Robert, Breeana, Hunter and Brycen.

There will be a private graveside service and a public memorial service on Saturday, November 21, at 1pm at VFW Post 51, 300 W. Mission Avenue.
