College golf: Whitworth men triumph; women second

Oliver and Lyle Rudnicki finished 1-2 in leading Whitworth to the title at the NWC Fall Classic played at Woodlands at Sunriver (Oregon) Resort on Sunday.

Oliver finished the two rounds at 1-under 143 for medalist honors. Lyle was two strokes back.

Whitworth finished at 29 over. Willamette was second in the nine-team field at 37 over.

The Whitworth women finished at 72 over. George Fox won at 47 over.

Chelsea Bayley took second place for Whitworth at 8-over 152, two strokes back of the medalist.
