BootSlam - BootSlam is competitive performance poetry presented by Spokane Poetry Slam. Poets have three minutes per round to present their original work, which is judged by five audience members chosen at random. Author J.A. Jance - New York Times best-selling author will launch her 51st novel, “Dance of the Bones: A Beaumont and Walker Novel,” with a reading and book signing. The novel brings together two of her popular series characters – Seattle detective J.P. Beaumont and Arizona sheriff Brandon Walker – in a highly entertaining plot that honors both of these now-retired cops. A signing will follow in the lobby.
