UnitedHealthcare’s Small Steps Program - Every Wednesday and the last Saturday of the month through September, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., individuals who meet with a provider, health coach or nutritionist at a partnering federally qualified health clinic will receive a voucher for a local farmers market. Cancer Survivor Retreat for Women – Open to women who are currently, or who have ever been, diagnosed with any form of cancer. Experience a weekend of rest, reflection, sharing and a bit of pampering with massage and foot reflexology with others who have walked the cancer journey. Bike MS: Cycle the Silver Valley - Two-day ride on a rails to trails path with meals, amenities, fully stocked rest stops and festivities. A $75 registration fee and a minimum of $250 in fundraising are required to participate. Funds support research, programs and services for nearly 15,000 people living with multiple sclerosis across the Northwest. Health for All - This community-based healthcare access project links uninsured individuals and families in Eastern Washington with state health insurance programs and assists those who do not qualify for state-sponsored coverage by linking them with appropriate community resources. Hearing Loss Association – Spokane Chapter - Group provides support, education, advocacy, and camaraderie to people with a hearing loss. Each meeting features a speaker system, real-time captioning, and a room loop to make easy communication possible for all present.
