Bowling for Soup, Afroman headline Green Fest
Now in its third year, Green Fest is an outdoor music festival that will turn up the volume in the Valley on Saturday.
The festival’s headliners include “Because I Got High” rapper Afroman and rock band Bowling for Soup, which scored hits with “1985” and “Girl All the Bad Guys Want.” The jam-packed lineup also includes such regional acts as Free the Jester, the Ongoing Concept, the Nixon Rodeo and Civilized Animal.
The stage will be set up in the parking lot of the Black Diamond, 9614 E. Sprague Ave. Music starts at 11:30 a.m. and will continue outside until 10 p.m., when it moves indoors. A beer garden and food trucks will be on site. Tickets are $30 and available through TicketsWest.
