Gonzaga’s Przemek Karnowski hasn’t run into many folks his size (7-foot-1, 300 pounds) this season but he will against Akron’s Isaiah Johnson (6-10, 300 plus, according to coach Keith Dambrot). Arizona 7-footer Dusan Ristic had the height but not the bulk (245 pounds) to deal with Karnowski on the low block.

Johnson averages 15.2 points and 5.8 rebounds. He contributes 5.8 rebounds and a team-leading 2.8 assists. Kwan Cheatham Jr., Johnson’s sidekick inside, is 6-9 and 235. He chips in 8.7 points and 7 rebounds.
