GSL girls: Olivia Mayer scores 26 points and Gonzaga Prep downs Ferris

Olivia Mayer scored 26 points and visiting Gonzaga Prep (6-2, 6-1) ran away from Ferris (1-7, 1-6) 78-39 on Tuesday.

Mayer had one 3-pointer among her nine makes and went 7 of 8 from the line. G-Prep scored the first nine points of the game – with six coming from Mayer on 3-point plays – and led 20-9 lead after the first quarter.

Molly McDermott scored 13 points and Mia Scelfo added 11 for G-Prep.

Dacia Dufresne and Payton Royston led Ferris with eight points apiece.

Lewis and Clark 63, Shadle Park 30: Dominique Arquette scored 24 points, including six 3-pointers, with five rebounds and three assists to lead the Tigers (5-4, 5-2) over the visiting Highlanders (0-8, 0-7).

LC hit a season-high 12 3-pointers. Bailey Bishop hit four beyond the arc for 12 points, Jacinta Buckley scored eight points with seven rebounds and five assists and Arianna Reeves grabbed 10 rebounds for LC.

Willow Risinger led the Highlanders with 13 points and six rebounds.

Central Valley 51, University 16: Lexie Hull scored had a big night for the Bears (7-0, 7-0), scoring 18 points with 10 rebounds and five assists, to help defeat the visiting Titans (5-4, 4-3).

Central Valley is currently on a 35-game winning streak dating back to last season. Lacey Hull added 14 points for CV.

Mt. Spokane 64, North Central 32: Aspyn Adams shot 6 of 13 from the field, 5 of 10 from three-point range, and 5 of 6 at the line to finish with 22 points and the Wildcats (6-1, 6-1) doubled up the visiting Indians (2-6, 2-5).

Miahna Waters scored 14 points and Jaidyn Lyman added 10, while Emily Nelson brought down eight rebounds.

Sativa Rogers led NC with 12 points.

Mead 68, Rogers 26: Brenna Junkermier scored 10 points and the Panthers (5-4, 3-4) beat the visiting Pirates (2-7, 1-6).

Mead’s entire roster played and scored in a balanced effort.

Seven of Rogers’ eight field goals were 3-pointers. Atyzha Upton led the Rams with 12 points.
