RENTON, Wash. – Police are searching for suspects involved in a shooting near the Nomads Hookah Lounge in Renton.
KOMO-TV reported that shots were fired near the lounge at about 2:15 a.m. Wednesday.
Renton Police Cmdr. Jeff Eddy said the investigation started after a man showed up at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle with a gunshot wound.
Investigators traced the shooting back to a mini mall in Renton near the hookah lounge.
Police believe a fight broke out in a parking lot and people pulled out guns.
Police found “shell casings everywhere.”
Eddy said police were not 100 percent sure that the gunshot victim at Harborview was the same person shot outside the mini mall, but he matches a description of a man who may have been shot there.
